Best Coffee in Paducah
Pipers Tea and Coffee opened its new, larger location across from the Coca Cola building today! In my opinion, Pipers Tea and Coffee is the best coffee in Paducah. Honestly, it could be the best in all of Western Kentucky! Don’t just trust me—they have been featured in Garden and Gun, Southern Living, Feast Magazine, and USA Today.
My husband, Jon, and I are self proclaimed coffee snobs. We grind our own beans at home and make espresso every morning. We ditched the k-cups and pre ground coffee years ago! The difference is like night and day and there truly is no going back. All of that to say, we know good coffee and Pipers is that.
Prior to today, Pipers had a small location across the street in the old Coca Cola building next to Mellow Mushroom. They opened their doors back in 2015 and quickly became a local favorite. They source and roast their own coffee, make their own unique teas, and all of their syrups are made in house. They also keep a small selection of yummy bakery selections from Kirchhoff’s Bakery and Deli, such as muffins and scones. My current favorite coffee is a brown sugar, cinnamon, and honey latte. They also have unique rotating seasonal syrups that are fun to try in unique drinks.

I’m so excited for their new location and the space they now have! The building was previously home to Rocket Fired Pizza and offers plenty of indoor and outdoor space for the local community to enjoy. The beautiful, updated and modern emerald green vertical subway tiles give the new barista station a sleek look. The location has an open floor plan with plenty of light and comfortable seating to catch up with friends, read a book, or get some work done while sipping on a delicious handcrafted drink. This morning it was packed with people and families of all ages eager to check out the new location! The friendly faces of the employees and excellent customer service makes everyone feel welcome.
